This post should’ve been posted about 3 hours ago….
But due to my clumsy fingers this is my fourth time rewriting this post! You know what they say,
third fourth times the charm 😉
These bars are gluten free, could be made vegan if you substitute the honey for agave nectar (make sure to use half the amount of agave when sub) and are super customizable! (They’re also deeeelish)
For this variation I used peanut butter, 1/2 dried cranberries,1/2 dried blueberries and sliced almonds. You could sub any of the following ingrdients!
Customizable Chocolate Energy Bars
*3/4c Peanut Butter
*3/4c Brown Sugar
*1 1/2c Oats
*1 1/4c Gluten Free Crispy Brown Rice Cereal
*1c Dried Fruit (I used 1/2c Dried cranberries & 1/2c Dried bluberries)
*1c Nuts (I used sliced almonds)
1. Heat the first four ingredients over medium heat in a sauce pan stirring constantly untill smooth.
2. In a seperate bowl combine the rest of the ingrdeietns.
3. Add the rest of the ingrdeients into the cocoa mixture over low heat. Don’t be afraid to mix it really well.
4. Press down in a greased 9×13 inch pan and let set.

My homemade ones for sure. But if I was going for a packaged one it would definitely be Chocolate Chip Kidz Cliff Z Bar. Yes there for children but don’t judge they’re the perfect size!
